What advice would you give to someone who is about to start their life at NTU?
“Don’t be afraid to step out your comfort zone and get involved as much as you can!”
What do you like about studying and living in Nottingham?
“Studying in Nottingham you’re constantly surrounded by student life, whether it’s in Clifton or in the city.”
What do you think about the course staff? How do they support your learning and University experience?
“The course staff are extremely supportive and encouraging. They often suggest office hours in which we can see them about our course. They are always happy to help whenever you need them to.”
What modules / topics / projects have you particularly enjoyed / found useful?
“I have enjoyed studying forensic and clinical linguistics; it’s really helped me to think about possible future careers.”
What do you think about the facilities available to you?
“The facilities at Clifton are very useful. There is a café and on site shop, so you don’t need to travel to be able to have a warm drink or do your shop.”
What has been your greatest achievement at NTU so far?
“My greatest achievement at NTU so far was becoming an NTU CERT mentor, as it means I am able to give back to the University and develop new skills and experiences.”
Could you sum up your NTU experience in 3 words?
“Exciting, supportive and fun.”
Choosing just one subject to study at university can be a challenge! If you’re stuck weighing up different subjects, a joint honours course could be the ideal solution!
