“Coming from someone that always had his eyes set on studying at a campus university, NTU couldn’t be further from it. I love how much the city is like Cardiff, my hometown, due to it being small enough to walk around easily but big enough so you don’t really see the same person twice. The amount of things to do in Nottingham is second to none and a short walk to the station means you can be in in London in no time at all. The food and drink is good and overall, it’s a really nice place to live.

“Not only is Nottingham Business School one of the best in the country, I was always keen to travel, and the BA (Hons) International Business course allowed me to do a placement year in Australia. I wanted to keep learning a language and the course incorporated a compulsory language module, one that I could take up as a beginner. Those options really influenced my decision to study at NBS.

“I particularly like some of the subjects that I study as they have given me an insight into the world of international business. The broad range of topics in first year sets a good grounding for possible specialisation in the future and lets students understand all aspects of how a company runs.

“As a university student you have to take as many opportunities that come your way and I have taken part in a University Business Challenge where a group of us had to manage a business and come out with the highest profit overall. I have also founded the BA International Business society, which should help students become more professional and allow for a better exchange experience to Australia”.
