Tell us about your current job.
"I handle sales for multinational food companies and help them generate appropriate concepts and flavours for food products. I really enjoy working with cross functional creative teams and learning commercial aspects of running a complex and creative business."
Do you think your time at NTU helped you to pursue this career?
"Of course! It helped me navigate through tricky and tough times and still maintain ethics and an extremely stable composed mind. I studied with students from diverse ethnic and sociocultural backgrounds which taught me to be patient and to communicate with people effectively. I now have good friends who now reside in different corners of the world – this has helped me to make global connections, which was one of my objectives for taking the MBA."
What did you do in the year immediately after graduating?
"I got into a role which was challenging and equally enjoyable. I started working for a Japanese flavour and fragrance company. I got to travel locally as well as internationally for various projects. This was exactly what I wanted in early years of my career and the MBA definitely helped me go that extra mile."
Did you enjoy your time at NTU?
"Absolutely! Some of the best days of my life. I think applying to NTU was one of the best decisions that I have ever taken."
What was your most memorable moment as a student?
"There are a few. Receiving the MBA award at the graduation ceremony in 2011. Getting a consultancy project as part of my studies in Mauritius and also an internship in a fragrance company in Manchester."
Can you describe NTU in three words?
