"When deciding which course to study, the MSc Marketing course at Nottingham Business School seemed to strike a good balance between developing academic skills and also relevant business skills.

"Compared to my undergraduate studies ten years ago, I am really enjoying how much technology makes my student life easier! Getting an iPad at the beginning of the course has been really helpful for studying. It's very easy to download and read research articles from the NTU library. Group work has been simplified by using Facebook and Dropbox, and communicating with staff is very straight forward and instant.

"I am delighted to be on target to graduate at a distinction level which is a very gratifying reflection of my commitment and a welcome confidence boost.

"Having a master's degree in marketing will hopefully boost my employability and the promotional prospects in my career. I'm interested in steering my career down the route of customer insight, product management or even political marketing. The course has also opened my eyes into other interesting career areas that I hadn't previously considered such as CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)."
