More about Tejashri
I decided to undertake postgraduate study at Nottingham Business School because I wanted to be more confident in my decision-making skills at a higher professional level for future employment. I also wanted to set up my own business therefore the MBA was an ideal choice to help me gain the required soft and technical skills.
I chose Nottingham Business School because of the support I knew I’d receive from tutors, the teaching methods and the accreditations such as AACSB which certifies the quality of the school. The high employability rate of NTU graduates was another reason why I chose to study here.
I had been working as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte in India for 5 years so I wanted a course which would be relevant to me and my experience. The programme was more quantitative than other programmes I had looked at which really suited my requirements.
Facilities
The course stood out to me because I felt I would have a leading edge in the competitive market through the skills I would develop. For example I have developed multi–tasking skills as I had many commitments and involvements such as the Thinkubator challenge and my consultancy project to manage whilst completing other work.
The teaching is great too, I feel I can talk to my tutors comfortably and discuss any issues I have. The class sizes are small with around 10 students which means we can really get the most out of our learning. We have good brainstorming sessions in the group which really helps to share ideas. Through these sessions I’ve developed good networking skills and I have the ability to critically think and analyse now.

I use NOW everyday, it’s great for accessing emails, viewing your timetable and keeping track of performance. The library database of online journals is also extremely useful when it comes to completing assignments. Students also receive regular updates on job openings which is very helpful.

Nottingham Business School also has great links to other businesses and much of the teaching is about real workplace situations which I can relate to from working at Deloitte.
