"I did my degree at a university in London and came to Nottingham Business School to do a Masters in economics.  My twin sisters study here and my eldest sister is joining in September so we are a true NTU family! We're all proud to be NTU Brand Ambassadors.

"The course is very practical and we are given opportunities to put the theoretical aspects of the subject into practice.  For example, I had the opportunity to participate in the Thinkubator Challenge. It's an event where businesses present a problem to students and staff and ask for solutions. The objective is to help us connect with the local business community and see how problems are solved in the real world.

"Another great opportunity on the course is the module called the Applied Consultancy Project that I'm currently working on with a group of my fellow students. The process has taught me a lot and has given me a greater insight into how beneficial teamwork is. We are looking into questions that explore, among other things, the barriers of entry into social enterprise in the East Midlands region.

"Once I've finished my youth service in Nigeria my ambition is to continue my higher education by doing a doctorate in economics or go into the career of a financial analyst.

"Life is quite serene in Nottingham and there are fewer distractions here than in London. You have the opportunity to study and socialise well. I love the close proximity of the shopping centres and high street in Nottingham. We can walk nearly everywhere so it is very convenient. When I am not studying I go to service at Redeem Christian Church of God in Beeston, play table tennis and I enjoy chilling at home reading, cooking, chatting and playing games with my sisters and friends.

"If I were to give advice to incoming students I would say "cut your coat according to your size!" That is, do not spend just because you see your friends spending. Join the Student Union societies and events to make friends and learn new things."
