“My decision to come to NTU was influenced by the Open Day because I got to speak to fellow students about their first-hand experience.

“The LLB Law course at NTU is not solely assessed with exams, it also incorporates oral assessments and coursework. Each assessment is based on the work that a legal professional conducts on a daily basis. The module that I have found most useful is Contract Law and Employment Law as they apply to every area of Law and life in general.

“The library, Students’ Union and student support is amazing, they cater for all your needs. I felt very welcomed when I came to NTU. I normally get homesick when I am away from home but I found it easy to settle and adapt to a new environment. I would say taking part in NTU’s Welcome Week helped a lot as the freshers reps were friendly, understanding and fun. I like the fact that Nottingham is quite a small city, which makes it feel like a close knit community and everything is easily accessible.

“Since being at NTU I have participated in a number of work experience opportunities in the Legal Advice Centre. I was part of the Outreach Project in my second year and I also took part in giving legal advice to Art and Design students. The experience was invaluable as it enabled me to practice what I was learning and also expand my legal knowledge and skills.

“After graduation, I am going to China for a few months for a placement in a Legal firm. Upon my return, I am planning on doing the Bar Professional Training Course at Nottingham Law School.”
