More about Juliette

I wanted to do a Masters in the United Kingdom to improve my English and my knowledge in English law. The class options proposed at NTU, as well as the facilities like the gym, the 24-7 library, and the employability facilities convinced me to apply for the LLM International Trade and Commercial Law.

I completed my undergraduate study in France and an LLM in Germany before deciding to complete my international law studies by undertaking postgraduate study at Nottingham Law School.

I was attracted by the fact that Nottingham Law School is located in the heart of the city and the beauty of the Arkwright building, looks just like it is from a Harry potter movie. The gym and library are located on the city campus, which allows you access to all the commodities you need.

I discovered a lot about the facilities and support during induction week and continued to find out more about all the services available during the year. The classes at the gym as well as the equipment offered will suit every taste. The services at the library are amazing; the team are really nice and always available to help you. Special mention also for Global Week, which is an event organised to help students relax during the exam period.

NOW is really helpful since you can access everything on one platform; university events, the date of the job fair, job opportunities, documents related to your courses, access to books and articles from the library and you can also communicate with students and professors.

My postgraduate year has confirmed my plans. This year as well as the support of my teachers has confirmed my wish to pursue a career in international law. The Postgraduate Community in Nottingham is not big but very welcoming and international.

In the future, I want to take the bar exam in my home country, in order to become a lawyer.
