Nashmil is currently studying for a PhD which is developing an ethical lens through which to examine genetic modification of the human embryo and using this to critique current practice and regulation - particularly regulation at the International level through human rights instruments like the Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine and Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights.
She lectures on a full-time basis, teaching and leading Mental Capacity and Mental Health Law (LLM), Law of Trusts (LLB / Full time) and Public Law and Human Right (LLB / DL). She will also be delivering a session on the Beginning and Ending of Life Issues (LLM Health Law and Ethics) from January 2021.
