Opeyemioluwa shares her experience of travelling abroad whilst studying at NTU:

Tell us about how you found out about the study abroad opportunity and where you travelled to

I found out about studying abroad by email when I was in my first year. I then got some advice and support from the Global team who helped me throughout the process of applying. I chose to travel to the Netherlands as I did not want to pick somewhere too far away as well as experiencing a country with a civil law system.

What did you experience as part of your study abroad opportunity?

I made a lot of international friends that I am still in contact with today. In addition, living in a new country also helped me become more independent. This opportunity has definitely inspired me to learn a new language such as Spanish or French. To any students thinking of studying abroad, I’d say that it is an opportunity you may not get again so you should consider it!
