More about Rebecca
"I've always wanted to go into Forensics, and the Crime Scene Training Facility at NTU was brilliant. We can practise collecting evidence and dealing with a crime scene; resources to deal with fingerprints; Single-lens Reflex (SLR) cameras and software packages like ImageJ.
"My greatest achievement so far has to be my placement year which I carried out in a school. It has given me more than enough experience to be able to go places after my degree and has even inspired me to go on to study for a PGCE. In addition, and as a result of my course, my presentation skills have improved immensely. This will be a big help in the future as most careers involve having to present information to others and work as a team.
"I feel very supported by the staff at Nottingham Trent University. There is always someone there when needed, be it a technician, a lecturer or the course leader.
"If you're interested in forensics, then this course is perfect. It involves every aspect, from the crime scene to the courts and can lead to many different career paths. I've really enjoyed it and am glad I did it at NTU."
