More about Suzanna
"I wanted a course that wasn't purely Mathematics and this one combined my two best subjects. I enjoyed the Algebra and Calculus modules, but my favourite was a Statistical Dissertation researching the effect of terrorism on the tourism industry. It was really interesting and we had the freedom to take it wherever we wanted.
"Studying here has taught me how to analyse data, manage my time, prioritise my work, present myself and produce written documents and presentations.
"Through my dissertation, I also acquired a contact in statistical research at East Midlands Airport. From then on I knew I wanted to work in aviation. I'm now working for bmibaby as a pricing / revenue analyst and hoping to start an MSc in International Tourism later this year.
"I'd definitely recommend this course to other students. My lecturers were always great, because they're so supportive and willing to help. You're motivated to do well.
"I was impressed with NTU too. I was at Clifton campus and everything I needed was right there, including really good student accommodation. Nottingham itself is a brilliant place to live, with a really nice atmosphere."
