Thesis Title: Policing, Politics and Peacekeeping: An Exploratory Study of Police Leadership and Management
I am a PhD Researcher in Criminology at Nottingham Trent University. My research interests include police culture and police leadership. My PhD research entitled Policing, Politics and Peacekeeping: An Exploratory Study of Police Leadership and Management, is based on semi-structured interviews with chief and senior police officers and explores the views and practice of leadership and management within a police constabulary. The inclusion of the perceptions of the superintendent and inspector ranks will further current understanding of the way in which leadership is constructed by individuals at different levels of the police organisation.
