More about Kestell
"I have wanted to travel for quite a while, but have never had the funds or the time. So when I was given the opportunity to study in Lille, France, I decided to go for it and absolutely loved it!
"Studying abroad gave me the opportunity to meet new people from all over the world. Everyone I met was so open minded, educated and rational, making our conversations fascinating and educational. I know more about Europe now than anyone could have told me in England.
"Whilst studying in Lille I completed a module called Ethics in Business and Economics which was interesting and engaging that I found myself skyping home to tell relatives about what I had learnt. My Professor was very complimentary about my work giving me a huge confidence boost and I injected more energy into my work.
"I have learnt a lot in the time I spent studying abroad and I am planning to use some of my work from Science Po, Lille as academic references for my Masters Course application. I am also going to continue to learn French with NTU as I believe speaking another language could give me an edge when competing for jobs against applicants with a similar academic background.
"My advice to future students is to be as organised as you can! Make sure you know exactly when money is coming into your account, the exchange rates, when rent is due etc. If you are looking for something exciting and different to normal university life then I would definitely recommend studying abroad."
