More about Kirsty

"I chose to study at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) as, after attending a lot of open days, it was my favourite university. It is in a great location and is very modern, the student satisfaction rates are high and NTU seemed to be far more accepting than many of the other universities I had visited. The open day 100% made up my mind, it was useful and exciting to think about studying here.

"I previously studied Psychology and Sociology at A-level and felt like I could further myself in these subjects and that there are definite career paths I could follow relating to them.

"I have particularly enjoyed studying social psychology and cognitive psychology - they are definitely the topics I find the most enjoyable and interesting. Any information you need is on NOW and if for any reason you miss a lecture you can find it on NOW and catch up, in order to keep up to date and on top of the work.

"The staff are helpful and attentive and during my degree I was able to maintain a great relationship with my family, while also gaining my own independence. I have become much more confident in my own ability to both learn and to socialize with others. I feel I will be able to use skills I have gained in this course in the future to further my qualifications and my career."
