More about Tarik

I hold a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature from the Moulay Ismail University, Morocco, an Executive MBA, and an MA from the University of Nottingham.

I decided to pursue a PhD at NTU because of the combination of several factors, among which are the quality of the supervision, the autonomy to undertake research, and the training opportunities.

My PhD project (NTU Bursary) focuses on the political economy of trade policies, impact of trade relations, and institutional engagement in the Middle East and North Africa.

My ambition after successfully completing my PhD is to join the diplomatic sector or academia in a leading position.

Director of Studies: Dr Imad El-Anis
