How to apply
The application criteria for each employer will vary, and Nottingham Trent University also has certain standards you'll be required to meet in order to apply for an apprenticeship. Please check both the apprenticeship job advertisements and the NTU course pages for information.
I'm an existing employee
If you're an existing employee and your employer has offered to support your apprenticeship, you can send an application form directly to NTU. The application form and the process you need to follow are included on individual course pages.
I'm looking for employment
You can search for relevant vacancies on the Find an Apprenticeship website, or alternatively, directly via an employer's website. You'll probably be required to submit an application directly to the company.
There's no set protocol in regards to the application process for a degree apprenticeship. However, an employer may invite you to one or more of the following:
- a face-to-face interview
- a telephone interview
- an online assessment
- an assessment day.
Once you've secured employment, you'll need to send an application form to Nottingham Trent University for your specific course.*
*NTU is currently accepting paper-based applications, which we can send you via email. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Application for higher and degree apprenticeships do not go through UCAS.
