Education and Teacher Training at NTU

Our postgraduate education and teacher training courses are your gateway to professional practice

We offer a number of routes into teaching – all of which lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and recognition by the Department of Education. Our courses offer a broad range of professional possibilities, in and outside of the classroom: for example, our Masters courses in English Language Teaching and Education and Career Development will equip you with the skills, qualities and knowledge to facilitate your own career progression. We’ve developed a postgraduate curriculum and suite of courses to accommodate your personal interests and professional ambitions, however varied they may be.

Our courses are designed and delivered by research experts and senior practitioners in the field of education, meaning you’ll learn at the very forefront of your industry. Working with our extensive network of partner schools and institutions – who’ll give you the opportunity to put teaching theory into practice – you’ll be well placed to progress within the sector.
