Criminology, Policing and Forensic Science at NTU

Our undergraduate courses combine hands-on experience with theory, policy and practice. If you're studying BSc Forensics you’ll learn specialist skills in the Crime Scene Training Facility on our Clifton Campus, in training scenarios that include burglaries and assaults.

We have strong ties to Nottinghamshire Police, professional forensic experts, and former criminal justice practitioners. Our undergraduate courses enable you to embark on a career in the criminal justice, enforcement and forensics sector. If you study on our BA Policing course you could even go on to become a police officer after graduation.

At Masters level, our courses are designed to amalgamate your intellectual interests and career ambitions, our courses will enable your progress in these fast-paced, dynamic fields. Apply hands-on practice to theory in areas ranging from toxicology to bioarchaeology, whilst exploring the latest debates at the forefront of the sector.

With support from specialist staff and research experts, these courses will enable you to gain a critical and informed understanding of the policies, legislations, analytical techniques and debates that are currently shaping the field.
