Animal, Equine and veterinary sciences at NTU

Passionate about working with animals? Our courses will help you turn that passion into a career.

Based at our Brackenhurst Campus, core scientific study is supported by practical sessions in our Animal Unit, Veterinary Nursing and Equestrian Centres. These purpose-built facilities house animals from 40 different species – from horses to ferrets – and include a fully-simulated veterinary practice.

The courses offer work experience opportunities, as well as field trips to animal health, welfare and conservation organisations. You’ll also hear from external industry professionals through guest lectures.
