Students’ Union

Run by students for students, Nottingham Trent Students' Union (NTSU) could be a huge and exciting part of your university experience.

As soon as you enrol at Nottingham Trent, you'll automatically become a member of NTSU.

Our union is here to help you make the best of your time at NTU, and there's so much to get involved in. Find out more about your representatives, learn about our support services, and discover our incredible range of venues, societies, sports clubs, events and initiatives.

Get involved!

As well as having over 110 different societies to get involved with — plus the chance to set up your own — NTSU's entertainment programme offers you some fantastic opportunities. From popular club nights and comedy evenings to day trips and weekends away, you'll be spoiled for choice. Visit the NTSU events page to see what's coming up.

Beyond sports and entertainment, you'll also have the opportunity to develop your CV with some fantastic extracurricular opportunities. Trent Raising and Giving (RAG) is our popular fundraising group — giving you the chance to get involved in charity initiatives at home and abroad — while NTSU Volunteering is a great opportunity to make a real difference to your local community.

Information, advice and representation

Representing your needs and views as a student is a huge priority of the Students' Union. Whether it's our Academic Reps or our Executive Officers, we have a range of people in place to represent you on all aspects of your experience at the University, making sure that your voice is heard.

We known that university life comes with its own challenges, which is why we also have our own independent Information and Advice Service to support you. Whether you're looking for advice on money matters, housing or mental health, our trained advisors are on-hand to help.
