Songwriting workshop with Freddie Kofi

All NTU students are invited to join Freddie Kofi, Nottingham-born MOBO Award nominee and IVORS Academy Award winner for a special songwriting workshop. Freddie's workshop is practice-based and will look at the construction of songs and the development of song structure. Email WRAP to register your interest.

DH Lawrence birthplace writing workshop day

We're offering the unique opportunity for NTU students to enjoy a full-day writing workshop inspired by the works of DH Lawrence at his birthplace museum. The visit includes a tour of the museum, writing workshops and lunch.

Easter Egg Poetry Treasure Trail

Bright coloured Easter eggs.
Easter eggs or Ocean tickets? You need to be in it to win it. Inviting all NTU students to sign up to the Easter Egg Poetry Treasure Trail to test the skills of you and your fellow students. Follow the clues round the city and write a poem with your team for a chance to win.

Location: Starting at City Campus, Newton Central Court.

WRAP Live! with Musa Okwonga

Musa Okwonga

Our WRAP Live! events are open to everyone — students, staff and the public. Don't miss out on the second WRAP Live! of the academic year, featuring celebrity guest and featured writer Musa Okwonga. Reading from his novel In The End, It Was All About Love, Musa will also be answering questions from the audience.

Get involved in the All About Love Anthology

Red petals shaped in a love heart.

We're giving students and staff the exciting opportunity to see their writing in print in our upcoming anthology All About Love. Pick up a pen and send us your love-themed poetry or prose by 5 pm Thursday 31 March to be featured.

If you need a second opinion, join our online drop-in session on Monday 21 March from 1 pm to 2 pm.
