Join us as we celebrate our collaboration with poet and medic Safia Khan, curator of our annual showcase of WRAP writers, as she headlines with a performance form her award-winning collection of poems. The collection Too Much Mirch challenges assumptions and stereotypes, and her poems address the interplay between family, racism and misogyny, exporing how people and communitities can be lifted up or let down by those around them.
Come along to check out a new photographic exhibition of Women Writers in Nottingham, a partnership between Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature and Nottingham School of Art and Design. Make sure you stick around after the event for an after party featuring live music from NTU students.
