Instructions for new and current student on how to get a new or reset a forgotten password.
Cyber security incident: please help protect NTU by resetting your password
To protect against a cyber security incident, we had to reset passwords for all NTU accounts in July 2025.
If you haven’t yet reset your password, please visit mypassword.ntu.ac.uk to find instructions on next steps and how to get support if needed.
New students
To access resources like online enrolment, our accommodation booking system and your NTU email, you will need your NTU ID and password. Complete this process to get your password.
To start the process, please read and accept the Eduserv Chest Copyright Acknowledgement. You will then be asked for your NTU ID, which you should have received in official emails and letters sent to you from the University.
If you don't have your NTU ID, please contact us by calling +44 (0)115 848 4200 or via our online enquiry form.

If you have forgotten or need to reset your password, please complete this process to obtain a new one.
To start the process, please read and accept the Eduserv Chest Copyright Acknowledgement. You will be asked for your NTU ID, which can be found on your Smartcard.
