WRAP Book Giveaway – jump on board with Ashley Hickson-Lovence's The 392

It’s a new year and WRAP (Writing, Reading and Pleasure) has a new featured writer – Ashley Hickson-Lovence – who’ll be performing, dropping in, chatting and getting involved in all things WRAP this term.

To celebrate working with Ashley, we’ve got some free copies of his book The 392 to giveaway to 21 lucky students and 21 lucky staff members! To be in with a chance to win, complete this online form, and tell us what your favourite bus route is!

Ashley is the author of The 392, a story which follows a London bus on its route from Hoxton to Highbury. The events of the journey unfold through a cast of charismatic characters coming from very different worlds. This stunning, explosive novel brings to life discussions about identity, race, sexuality, faith and family – and more.

Entries are open now, and will close at 9 pm on Wednesday 20 January 2021. Winners will be selected at random and announced on Thursday 21 January 2021. Good luck!

WRAP dates for your diary

Don’t forget that WRAP’s online sessions are back and open to all students – there’s lots to choose from, including book groups, writing workshops, mentoring, and opportunities to share your work through the WRAP Café.

The 392 giveaway terms and conditions

This giveaway is open to current Nottingham Trent University staff and students only. The giveaway will open at 9 am on Thursday 14 January 2021 and close at 9 pm on Wednesday 20 January 2021 – entries received outside of these times and dates will not be accepted. Entries must be received via the giveaway online form, and will not be accepted in any other format. Entries are limited to one per person, including for those who qualify as both staff and students. Winners will be selected at random (21 students and 21 staff) on Thursday 21 January 2021, and notified by the email address they provided. Winners may be announced on the Curated & Created Instagram account if entrants provide their Instagram handle as part of their entry. Winners will receive a single paperback copy of The 392 which will be posted to them via royal mail to the address provided in their entry.
