NTU Open House: paid opportunity for students
Published: 27/06/2021
NTU Open House will welcome prospective students back to our campuses, giving visitors the opportunity to experience what it’s like to study at NTU and live in Nottingham.

To make this event a success, we need the help of Student Ambassadors.
Taking place across all of our campuses, our Open House event will have an informal feel and give visitors the opportunity to view what they want, when they want to. It’s less about scheduled talks and more about academics and Professional Service teams being in their own spaces, showcasing their facilities and talking to visitors.
Visitors will be able to take student-led campus tours, explore their subject facilities and take a look inside some of our accommodation. Plus, there will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor spaces available for visitors to enjoy.
To make this event a success, we need the help of our Student Ambassadors. Student Ambassador duties and responsibilities will include signposting visitors on the day, taking groups of visitors on campus tours and subject facility tours.
This is a paid role and it would be beneficial if you are already familiar with the campus. For subject facility tours you will need to have an understanding of the facilities you are showing people around so you should preferably study the same or a very similar course.
You will be given a campus tour script to follow and your briefing will include health and safety guidelines. Duties on the day of the event will include being in charge of a group of prospective students and visitors, taking your group to buildings as part of the tour and talking to prospective parents and students. Full training will be provided for this role before you start.
Sound like the role for you? Then apply today! Applications close Monday 5 July.
