Changes to COVID-19 restrictions: in-person teaching will continue
Published: 08/12/2021
The Government has announced further measures to slow the spread of COVID-19, a move to ‘Plan B’.
In-person teaching and learning will continue so please follow your timetable as planned for the last few days of term. Our libraries and study spaces remain open to you and will be during the Winter Break for those that need them.
The Department for Education will issue further guidance shortly and we will update you, in particular if we need to make any further changes before the start of Term Two.
Steps you can take to protect our NTU community
On campus, please wear a face covering in all indoor crowded spaces and communal areas. Please regularly wash and sanitise your hands.
Please take a COVID-19 Lateral Flow Test if you are travelling this Winter Break; home testing kits are available from the main receptions on each of our campuses.
Please be sure to get your vaccinations, and boosters, when appropriate.
If you test positive for COVID-19, please let us know via the NTU tracker form. We can then offer you the most appropriate support, whether that’s food parcels, wellbeing tips or what to do if your studies and assessments have been affected.
If our plans need to change for Term Two, we will let you know via your NTU email account so please check it regularly.
We look forward to seeing you in January.
