On Thursday 26 May, three gold medal winning athletes will be included in a panel at the City Student Union. Over the course of an hour, they will share their personal journey to competing on the world stage, giving insight into the life of an athlete and what it takes to be the best.

NTU Talks

The 45-minute discussion will be hosted by your SU President, Conor Naughton, followed by a 15-minute audience Q&A where you’ll have the opportunity to ask all things sport and motivation.

Olympic Gold Medallists Rebecca Adlington OBE and Greg Rutherford MBE, as well as Paralympic gold medal winner Jonnie Peacock will be giving exclusive talks. Rebecca won GB women’s first gold medal since 1960, Greg Rutherford won one of three gold medals in the London 2012 Olympics, and Jonnie Peacock broke the Paralympic record on his way to winning the gold in the 100m.

This is the perfect opportunity to relax from exams and spend time with friends. We also have free pizza, free drinks for the first 100 students, and the chance to win a £250 Amazon voucher.

The doors will open at 5.45 pm, with the event kicking off at 6.30 pm. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity, so get your free ticket today.
