Freedom of speech and expression is at the heart of what universities are for - we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe to share ideas and debate opinions.
NTU also has certain legal obligations to protect freedom of speech, alongside ensuring we are protecting and supporting our University community.
We’ve recently updated our Code of Practice, which sets out the ways in which the rights and obligations linked to freedom of speech operate at NTU.
