Celebrating Ramadan at NTU

Published: 28/02/2025

The Islamic observance of Ramadan is a time of fasting (sawm), prayer, reflection and community engagement. It's carried out worldwide by Muslims and is considered the holiest month of the year.

Following the lunar cycle, Ramadan begins on the evening of Friday 28 February and will end around Sunday 30 March.

The NTU Muslim prayer rooms will be available for prayer during the time of Ramadan at City and Clifton campuses. Find more information on the use of faith facilities at NTU.
