Join NTU in marking Islamophobia Awareness Month 2025
Published: 30/10/2025
This November, NTU is joining communities across the UK to mark Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM) – a national campaign that raises awareness, challenges stereotypes, and celebrates the positive contributions of Muslim communities.
Running from 1–30 November, this year’s theme, 'flip the script' invites us all to change the narrative by amplifying the voices, experiences, and achievements of Muslims across society.
Learn, reflect and get involved
First launched in 2012, IAM encourages people of all backgrounds to come together, build understanding, and take action against discrimination. Islamophobia Awareness Month highlights how harmful stereotypes can be challenged through education, empathy, and open conversation.
Throughout November, NTU will host events and activities that explore identity, belonging, and inclusion, and showcase the strength and diversity of Muslim communities:
