Day or night, if you’re looking for a safe space in Nottingham city centre, the new interactive venue map will help you find one nearby.

NTU proudly sits as an active member of Nottingham’s Consent Coalition. We work with the city to raise awareness of the importance of consent, challenge myths about sexual violence, and encourage victim-survivors to access support.

Now, in partnership with It’s in Nottingham, we have launched the Nottingham Safe Space website.

Use the new interactive website to locate trained accredited venues throughout the city centre for support of any kind, day or night.

Our dynamic, fully responsive map shows every accredited Safe Space venue in Nottingham with pinpoint accuracy, so you never feel alone when you need support.

You'll also automatically get the quickest walking or public transport route from your current location to a chosen venue.

From bars and cafes to shops and cultural spaces, each venue has committed to creating an environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and respected in Nottingham.

We also have safe places on campus, as well as lots of information on how to get help if you need it.
