Whether you’re applying for student finance, starting a part-time job or moving for uni, the HMRC app helps you get ‘on it’.

• Find and save your National Insurance number. If you’re applying for student finance or you’ve got a new part-time job, you’ll need your National Insurance number. You can quickly find it and save it to your phone’s wallet with the HMRC app. This is also handy for part-time job applications.

• Got a new part-time job? Check your tax code in a few taps to make sure you’re getting the right pay.

• Moving house? If you’re changing address or moving back home, you can update your details in just a few minutes with the app.
