Temporary access issues affecting some NTU systems

You may be aware that yesterday a global cyber-security issue was identified, linked to a vulnerability within the PHP programming language.

This programming language is the base for a huge number of systems internationally and the providers of the PHP software are working urgently to rectify this issue.

We are reviewing our systems to understand any potential impact.

As a precaution there may be temporary restricted access to some systems while these checks are carried out. Software Hub, which can usually be access via your MyNTU dashboard, is currently unavailable.

You will still be able to see your timetable, but our teams are unable to make any changes during this time e.g. in case of room change or staff illness. If there are any changes to your teaching, we will text and email you – so please continue to check your inboxes.
