Returning students accommodation incentive
All bookings of 44 weeks or longer made by returning undergraduate and postgraduate students for UPP halls at NTU from 14 January 2026 are eligible to claim the following incentives, subject to the following conditions:

This offer is only valid for full 44-week or full 51-week Returner bookings starting in September 2026 for 2026/27 academic year at UPP Halls at NTU (Byron, Gill St South, Gill St North, Sandby, Hampden, Blenheim, Simpsons, The Maltings, Meridian Court, New Hall, Peverell, Norton Court).
All Returner bookings made in UPP Halls at NTU from 17/12/2025 until further notice will be eligible to receive a £200 Amazon voucher and free laundry for the 44-week or 51-week, subject to the below conditions.
- Student must complete their booking, including signing their licence agreement.
- Student is verified as a Returning student, in year 2, 3, 4 of studies. Students in year 1 are not eligible for this offer.
- The verified student must arrive and collect keys for the room booked in the eligible hall.
- The verified student must have made payment for the first rental instalment in full as defined in the payment schedule.
Free laundry for the year:
- Students will receive the equivalent of one free wash and one free dry per week for the duration of their 2026/27 licence agreement.
- Students in properties with Washstation-operated laundry facilities will be emailed (to the same email students used to create their accommodation application) with a form to confirm the email address they have used to set up their Washstation account, so this can be credited directly by Washstation.
- Students in properties with Circuit operated laundry facilities will be emailed a voucher code, to the same email students used to create their accommodation application.
- Laundry credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
- Unused weekly allocations at the end of the tenancy cannot be transferred into cash value.
- The free laundry offer applies only to machines provided within UPP-operated accommodation laundry rooms.
- Laundry credits will be issued to students following arrival and no later than end of October 2026.
Amazon voucher:
- Students will receive a digital £200 Amazon voucher code, only for use with UK Amazon accounts (e.g. at amazon.co.uk).
- The voucher code will be emailed to the same email students use to create their accommodation application.
- The voucher code will be emailed by the end of the first term, 11 December 2026.
If an eligible room is subject to a room swap post arrival, the incentive offer can only be claimed by the original offer holder (subject to their arrival and payment criteria being satisfied), if they remain in a UPP property.
Only one voucher and laundry credit will be applied per room.
Bookings cancelled in line with the cancellation policy, or approved as a release from contract pre arrival will not be eligible to claim this incentive.
No alternative payment will be offered, and the offer is non-transferable.

UPP halls at NTU - group bookings
Group Booking incentive offer terms and conditions 2026/27 (December 2025)
This offer is only valid for full 44-week or 51-week bookings starting in September 2026 for 2026/27 academic year at UPP Halls at NTU (Byron, Gill St South, Gill St North, Sandby, Hampden, Blenheim, Simpsons, The Maltings, Meridian Court, New Hall, Peverell, Norton Court).
Eligibility
- The Group Booking Incentive is open to all new and returning students who book UPP accommodation at for a minimum term of 44 weeks starting in September 2026 for the academic year 2026/27.
- To qualify, a group must consist of a minimum of 3 students booking together using ‘Friendship Groups’ in the NTU online booking system, and under the same licence period at the same NTU accommodation.
Incentive details
- Group members in eligible groups will receive a £100 Amazon voucher each.
- The vouchers will be emailed to each group member’s individual email address (the same email address students used to apply for accommodation) at the end of Term 1 2026 (11 Dec 2026)
How to participate
- Follow the group booking process on the Accommodation Portal.
- All Group Members must start an application and join a ‘Friendship Group’, the ‘Group Leader’ must select a flat and allocate rooms.
- All Group Members must sign their licence agreement and have made payment for the first rental instalment in full as defined in the payment schedule.

UPP halls at NTU - refer a friend
Eligibility
- The Refer a Friend Incentive is open to all new and returning students who book UPP accommodation for a minimum term of 44 starting in September 2026 for the academic year 2026/27.
- Both the referrer (the person making the referral) and the referee (the friend being referred) must complete a booking directly through the NTU Accommodation Services booking portal.
- To qualify, the referee must be an NTU student studying in their 2nd year (or higher) in the 2026/27 academic year. The referee doesn't have to have stayed in UPP accommodation previously to qualify.
Incentive Details
- For every successful referral, the referrer will receive a £100 Amazon voucher, and the referee will receive a £100 Amazon voucher.
- This incentive is unlimited. Referrers can claim a reward for every friend they successfully refer who completes a booking.
How to Participate
- The referrer must submit the referee's details here.
- The referee must complete their booking, including signing their licence agreement, to validate the referral.
- Both the referrer and referee will be notified via email (to the same email students used to create their accommodation application) once their rewards are confirmed.
Additional terms
- Rewards will be issued to both the referrer and the referee following the referee's arrival and payment of the first instalment of rent. For successful bookings arriving in September, Amazon vouchers will be issued by the end of Term 1, 11 December 2026.
- Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative rewards.
- This offer is valid in conjunction with all other UPP accommodation offers and incentives.
- Referrers are responsible for ensuring that referees provide accurate information during the referral process.
- UPP Accommodation reserves the right to decline a referral if fraudulent activity or abuse of the offer is suspected.
Expiry and modifications
- The Refer a Friend Incentive will remain valid until further notice. UPP Accommodation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this incentive at any time without prior notice.

Spin the Wheel – Terms & Conditions 2026/27
1. Eligibility
1.1. The Spin the Wheel campaign is open to current Nottingham Trent University (NTU) students in their first, second, or third year (classified as “returners”) who are not commencing a new course in the 2026/27 academic year and who book a room in UPP Halls for a minimum term of 44 weeks, starting in September 2026, at participating NTU accommodation for the academic year 2026/27.
1.2. To qualify, eligible bookings must be completed and signed between 1 January 2026 and 31 August 2026.
2. How to participate
2.1. Eligible students will be invited to spin the prize wheel only after they have:
- Signed their licence agreement, and
- Received confirmation that they have passed the 7-day cooling-off period.
2.2. The prize wheel spin must take place by 31 August 2026, in person at the relative UPP Halls reception.
2.3. Each student is entitled to one spin of the prize wheel only.
3. Prizes

- No cash alternative is available.
- Items will not be stored after the start of the 2026/27 check in weekend. If students do not return to start their 2026/27 contract for any reason, they must organise the collection of their possessions.

Free room cleaning package (single use)
- Covers one clean of the student’s room only.
- Value: £39 for Ensuite/Standard rooms or £59 for Studio rooms.
- The student must arrange the cleaning in advance with the on-site reception team.
- Cleaning will be carried out at a time determined by the site team, subject to availability and operational constraints.
- The site team has final discretion over the timing, scope, and standard of the clean.

5. General terms
5.1. All prizes are non-transferable and must be claimed in the manner and timeframe specified by UPP Accommodation Services.
5.2. UPP Accommodation Services reserves the right to substitute any prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value where necessary.
5.3. All participants must remain compliant with NTU Accommodation and UPP booking, licence, and payment policies to retain eligibility for any prize awarded.
5.4. UPP Accommodation Services retains ultimate authority over the issuance of prizes and reserves the right to withhold or revoke a prize if cheating, manipulation, or misuse of the campaign is suspected.
6. Additional conditions
6.1. UPP Accommodation Services reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Spin the Wheel campaign and/or prize offerings at any time without prior notice.
6.2. By participating in the Spin the Wheel campaign, students confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Cleaning services T&Cs
UPP RESIDENTIAL SERVICES LIMITED (URSL).
Standard Terms and Conditions of online payments/cleaning services
1.Contract
1.1 These Terms and Conditions are presented within the Home@Halls app. You must read and accept them before confirming your purchase. By selecting a cleaning package and completing payment, You agree to these terms.
1.2 A contract is formed between You and URSL, acting as the service provider, once full payment has been made via Stripe through the Home@Halls app.
1.3 Payment is processed via Stripe and held by URSL. The contract for the provision of cleaning services is formed between You and URSL.
1.4 The cleaning package selected includes 17 fortnightly cleaning sessions over the duration of your contract.
1.5 A detailed Cleaning Specification outlining the scope of each clean is show at the end of this document in definitions and forms part of this agreement. You must review this before accepting.
1.6 All cleaning services will be performed with reasonable care and skill.
1.7 Refunds will not be given should You leave the university or halls early.
2. Your Booking Requirements
2.1 You must:
Keep your room tidy and accessible
Remove valuables and personal items from surfaces
Avoid excessive clutter or rubbish
2.2 If your room does not meet these conditions, the clean will not be carried out and no refund will be issued.
2.3 Cleaners will not move personal belongings or clean around valuables. You are responsible for securing them.
2.4 You may indicate a preferred cleaning day at booking. While URSL will attempt to meet this, dates are not guaranteed.
2.5 In the event that URSL is unable to deliver a scheduled cleaning session due to unforeseen circumstances (such as staff illness or operational disruption), URSL will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the clean at the earliest available opportunity. Where rescheduling is not possible, a pro rata refund may be offered at URSL’s discretion.
3. Rates, VAT and Payment
3.1 The rate for the cleaning package chosen, as started at the time of booking, shall apply to your booking. All prices include VAT at the applicable rate.
3.2 All payments must be made in full and upfront at the time of booking via Stripe.
3.3 The total number of cleaning sessions is fixed and will reflect any planned exclusions e.g. Christmas or Easter breaks. This is detailed in point 1.4 of the T&Cs
3.4 No refunds will be provided if:
- You leave the accommodation early
- You miss a clean
- The room was not suitable for cleaning
- You choose not to use the full package
3.5 Cleaning packages are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
3.6 When you purchase a cleaning package, your card details will be securely stored by our payment processor (Stripe) in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
3.7 If we identify that you have purchased a package that does not match your room type (e.g. booking a non-ensuite package for an ensuite room), we reserve the right to:
- Charge the additional cost to the stored card if the package selected was underpriced for your room type, or
- Refund the difference to the original payment method if the selected package was overpriced. URSL will notify you in writing before making any such adjustment 6.2 Our liability for any loss is limited to twice the amount paid for your package. We are not liable for: 6.2.1 Loss of personal items not removed before cleaning
- 6.2.2 Missed cleans due to Your non-compliance
- 6.2.3 Indirect or unforeseeable losses
4. Changes and Cancellation
4.1 Once payment is made, your package is non-cancellable and non-refundable, except where legally required.
4.2 Requests to reschedule cleans must be made directly with the on-site residence team at reception. While URSL will try to accommodate changes, these are not guaranteed.
5. Complaints Procedure
5.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing to your on-site residence team within 2 working days of the issue. Complaints raised after this period may not be reviewed. Contact details can be found within the Home@Halls app or by visiting your halls reception.
6. Legal and Liability
6.1 These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
6.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other matter which cannot legally be excluded.
6.4 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
6.5 No third party has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

7. Questions / Complaints

In these Online payment terms and conditions, the words in the column on the left have the meanings given in the column on the right. You will know when a word with a special meaning has been used, because it will have an initial capital letter, even if it appears in the middle of a sentence.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Storage in Room
- Contract
1.1 These Terms and Conditions are presented at the time of requesting storage in room. You must read and accept them before confirming your purchase. By completing payment, You agree to these terms.
1.2 A contract is formed between You and URSL, acting as the service provider, once full payment has been made via Square.
1.3 Payment is processed via Square and held by URSL. The contract for the provision of cleaning services is formed between You and URSL.
1.4 Items in your room are left at your own risk. URSL accept no responsibility/liability for any items stored within your room.
2. Your Booking Requirements
2.1 You must provide up to date contact information, including a valid mobile phone number.
2.2 You are required to check out of your room on the final day of your licence agreement – you must return all keys to Reception by 10 am on this date. You will be issued with a notice for you to place on the door of your new room. Failure to display may result in your belongings being disposed of. After 10 am on this date you will not be granted access again until the start of your 2026/27 licence
2.3 Maintenance, Housekeepers, and Contractors will be entering your room to perform planned and statutory works. Your room will be cleaned but will always remain secure.
2.4 All items stored must be within boxes in your room. All items not stored in the boxes will be disposed of without notice.
2.5 Perishable items must not be stored in the room.
2.6 It is strongly recommended that valuable items should not remain in the room.
2.7 Your insurance with Endsleigh will cover your items for up to 60 days from the point of your departure. If you leave prior to your contract end date, there is potential that your belongings will not be insured for a period
2.8 If you are not returning to the same room for the 2026/27 academic year then all belongings must be removed by the date agreed between You and URSL. Failure to do this may result in belongings being disposed of, or, will result in additional charges of £50 per week. Pro-rata’d accordingly and payable on collection.
3. Rates, VAT and Payment
3.1 The rate for the storage in room, as started at the time of booking, shall apply to your booking. All prices include VAT at the applicable rate.
3.2 All payments must be made in full and upfront at the time of booking via Square.
- No refunds will be provided unless agreed in exceptional circumstances by URSL

5. Data Protection

2025/26 academic year terms and conditions.
- Offer valid at Simpsons, Norton Court, The Maltings, Peverell, Blenheim, and New Hall (parking for New Hall students will be located at Peverell).
- Parking spaces are limited, not guaranteed, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis determined by the date at which the licence agreement if fully signed
- Once all parking spaces are filled, students will be informed that they are no longer available and will not receive an alternative incentive.
- Parking spaces are only available at the property applied for (except for New Hall, where a limited number of spaces have been allocated in Peverell).
- A maximum of one parking space per room.
- Free parking is for the duration of the licence agreement for the academic year 2025/26 only.
- Vehicles must be registered in advance upon arrival. Failure to do so may result in refusal of access to the parking space/site.
- No oversized or commercial vehicles will be accepted.
- NTU or UPP are not liable for damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle while parked on the premises.
- Students are responsible for keeping their vehicles taxed, insured, and road-legal throughout their stay.
- We retain the right to revoke parking permits issued due to non-payment of rent.
- Students will receive an NCTX Student Bus Pass ('Easyrider Everyday for the City Zone' or similar) via email by the end of September 2025.
- Offer valid at Simpsons, Norton Court, The Maltings, Peverell, Blenheim, and New Hall.
- The pass will be valid until the end of their licence agreement and is applicable to agreements beginning in September 2025, for 44 or 51 weeks duration.
- Only one free travel pass per student.
- Students will be required to register for their travel pass via the site residence team after they have arrived in September 2025.
- Students will receive the equivalent of one free wash and one free dry per week for the duration of their 2025/26 licence agreement.
- Laundry credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
- Unused weekly allocations at the end of the tenancy cannot be transferred into cash value.
- The free laundry offer applies only to machines provided within UPP-operated accommodation laundry rooms.

- £100 Victoria Centre voucher

3.3. Specific terms apply to each prize:

2. Incentive Details

2.2. Vouchers are available from a pre-approved list provided by UPP. Choices will be communicated to eligible participants upon confirmation of eligibility.

3. How to Participate

3.3. Both the referrer and referee will be notified via email once their rewards are confirmed.

1. Eligibility
1.1. The Group Booking Incentive is open to all returning students who book UPP accommodation at for a minimum term of 44 starting in September 2025 for the academic year 2025/26.
1.2. To qualify, a group must consist of a minimum of three students booking together using ‘Friendship Groups’ in the NTU online booking system, and under the same licence period at the same NTU accommodation.
2. Incentive details
2.1. Eligible groups can select one reward from the following options:
- PlayStation 5
- Mates Day Experience – Choice of Penny Lane Arcade, Go Ape at Sherwood Forest, or a Spa Day (provided as vouchers to an equivalent value of £40 per person)
- Large Screen TV
2.2. The incentive will be issued to the ‘Group Leader’ once all members of the group have arrived and paid their first instalment of rent.
2.3. Only one reward can be selected per group booking.
3. How to participate
3.1. All Group Members must start an application and join a ‘Friendship Group’, the ‘Group Leader’ must select a flat and allocate rooms.
3.2. All Group Members must sign their licence agreement and fulfil the necessary payment arrangements to be eligible for the reward.
3.3. The reward selection must be made when prompted during the booking process and cannot be changed once confirmed.
3.4. Once eligibility is confirmed, the ‘Group Leader’ will be contacted to arrange the delivery or collection of their chosen reward.

4.1. Rewards are subject to availability, and UPP Accommodation reserves the right to substitute any reward with an alternative of equal or greater value if required.
4.2. Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative benefits. UPP Accommodation takes no responsibility for the ownership or distribution of the PlayStation 5 or Large Screen TV among group members throughout the tenancy and after it ends. It is the group's responsibility to determine ownership at all times.
4.3. This offer is valid in conjunction with all other UPP accommodation offers and incentives.
4.5. UPP Accommodation takes no responsibility or liability for the behaviour of students during a Mates Day Experience. Students are expected to adhere to the terms and conditions of the chosen experience provider and act responsibly at all times.

Incentive one - £300 NTU campus credit
- Credit will be applied to your student card related to the bookings student ID no later than the end of term one, Friday 12 December 2025.
- Students will be notified by email of the credit being applied, by NTU Accommodation Services.
- The credit will remain on student accounts whilst ever the they remain a registered student at NTU.

- If an eligible room is subject to a room swap post arrival, the incentive offer can only be claimed by the original offer holder (subject to their arrival and payment criteria being satisfied), if they remain in a UPP property.
- Only one incentive will be given per person. Once chosen, incentives cannot be changed to another incentive.
- Bookings cancelled in line with the cancellation policy, or approved as a release from contract pre arrival will not be eligible to claim this incentive.
- These offers are available for a limited time only and the promotion can be withdrawn at any point.
Incentive two - free travel pass
- Students will be emailed an NCTX Student Bus Pass ('Easyrider Everyday for the City Zone' or similar) for use on applicable transport within Nottingham city boundary, by the end of September 2025.
- The pass will be valid until the end of their licence agreement and is applicable to licence agreements beginning in September 2025, for 44 or 51 weeks duration.
- Only one free travel pass per student.
- Students returning to The Maltings will already benefit from a free travel pass, so are able to choose another incentive where available.
Incentive three - free parking
- Offer valid at Simpsons, Norton Court, The Maltings, Peverell, Blenheim and New Hall (parking will be located at Peverell).
- Parking spaces are limited and not guaranteed and offered on a first come first serve basis. Where parking becomes unavailable, the offer will be removed, and any students who had requested the Free Parking incentive will be emailed and offered to choose one of the other alternative incentives. This alternative incentive choice must be made by 31 August 2025.
- Parking spaces are only available at the property you have applied for (except for New Hall, where a small allocation of spaces have been ring-fenced in Peverell for New Hall students. (New Hall students will not be allowed a car on the New Hall site at any time).
- A maximum of one parking space per room.
- Free parking is for the duration of your licence agreement for academic year 2025/26 only.
- Vehicles must be registered in advance with the site when they arrive. Failure to do so could mean refusal of access to the parking space/site.
- No oversized or commercial vehicles will be accepted.
- NTU or UPP are not liable for damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle while parked on the premises.
- Students are responsible for keeping their vehicles taxed, insurance and road legal throughout their stay.
