Our students' experiences

Last year NTU students participated in summer programmes in Canada, Germany, India, Mexico, Spain, and Vietnam. Here's what they thought of their time abroad:

One of the things I loved most during the trip was that I had great opportunities to meet new people. The people and the staff there are really nice and friendly, they treated us all the best they could, gave us a lot of lessons to learn about Vietnamese culture, and organized a lot of activities to build our friendship so we have a chance to get to know each other through volunteering trips to the orphanage, participating in many university events, helping me to build my communication and networking skills."

Pham Nguyen, British University Vietnam

I came away a lot more confident in myself and in my ability to learn, and I am already applying my newfound knowledge at home in my job and in my volunteering roles. You will also come away from an incredible experience that you will never forget and make so many long-lasting friendships."

Louise Gregory, Humber College, Canada

This has been the best experience of my life so far, travelling in general is something very valuable as it helps to open an individual’s mind and teaches how to adapt to and respect different cultures. The global summer school is perfect chance to combine the good aspects of travelling with a great learning experience."

Arta Tuca, CETYS University, Mexico
