Women's Welfare Society

NTU Best New Society 2021/22

NVSA Committee Excellence Award 2021/22 🏆

If you're a self-identifying woman studying at NTU, this society is for you.

Do you want to find a group of women that become life long friends? Are you passionate about women's rights? Interested in bettering your personal safety whilst at University? If so, consider joining NTU's Women's Welfare Society.

Our society is a group of friendly, down-to-earth females, aiming to create a strong and safe community for women within Nottingham and our University. This is a brilliant opportunity to meet some like-minded and fun friends.

Our society offers signposting for relationship/sexual health advice. With self defence classes, a huge girls group chat, pamper nights and more - our society is a worthwhile community for you to join!

Membership fee is just £5 for the whole year and gives you access to professional self-defence classes; wellbeing activities such as yoga and meditation; and other events throughout the year.

We have also set up a private group chat to message if you need help whilst out alone, and of course, lots of socials (drinking and non-drinking!).

Don't hesitate to drop one of our team a message/email before joining with any questions - we can't wait to meet you all!
