Sustainability

NTU is one of the most sustainable universities in the world. Our Embracing Sustainability and Net Zero Carbon strategy enable a culture of sustainable development across the NTU community.

At Nottingham Trent University, we are actively working across our campuses to put sustainability at the heart of everything we do. We draw on the diverse expertise of our colleagues, students and partners to collaborate in finding sustainable solutions to global challenges, and to maintain our position as a pioneering university for sustainability.

Sustainability at NTU is underpinned by NTU's strategic plan and the University Executive Team. Across NTU, departments including the Sustainability Team, Green Academy and our Sustainable Futures Research strand incorporate sustainability throughout our operations, teaching and research. Find out what we are doing to address our environmental impact and what you can do to be a part of our sustainable community.
