Faith facilities at NTU
At NTU, we know that faith and belief can be an important part of your university experience. That’s why we offer a range of faith facilities across our campuses – spaces for prayer, quiet reflection, and community.
These spaces are open to all students and colleagues and are designed to support different faiths and beliefs in a respectful and inclusive way.
Find out what faith facilities are available at NTU, how to use them, and who to contact if you need support.
You can also find out more about NTU Faith and NTU Chaplaincy, our services, and how you can get involved, on the NTU Faith and NTU Chaplaincy webpages.

Using the faith facilities
Faith facilities are part of the University’s premises, and we all share responsibility for keeping them respectful, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
These are shared, multi-faith spaces – please use them in a way that respects the needs and beliefs of others. They are for personal prayer, reflection, and worship, and should not be used for private meetings, social gatherings, or teaching activities unless agreed in advance.
- Please leave rooms in their original layout, clean, and tidy for others.
- Please don’t eat, drink, or sleep in the rooms, and don’t store food, money, or personal items there.
- Posters, leaflets, or displays must be approved by Amy Bere, Director of Culture.
- Please don’t leave religious materials, decorations, or personal belongings behind once you’ve finished.
- Any notices in other languages should include an English translation.
- If you’re inviting an external faith representative or guest speaker, please seek approval from Amy Bere, Director of Culture before confirming arrangements.
- The University may occasionally monitor the use of the facilities to ensure they remain safe, inclusive, and accessible for everyone.
Use of faith facilities should always reflect NTU’s values of respect, inclusion, and equality.
