Add the Sustainability in Practice (SiP) Certificate to your portfolio
Published: 01/02/2021
Complete a free, online module designed to enhance your employability and sustainability literacy in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Choose a theme of clothing, energy or food and find out how it links to your own discipline.
In the Sustainability in Practice (SiP) NOW learning room, you will explore:
- your personal connections with aspects of sustainability environment, society, economy;
- disciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives of sustainability, from Astrophysics to Sociology;
- a range of inspiring global and local solutions to sustainability challenges we face.
After completing four short online sessions, you need to submit a final project, this could be a video, mood board, poem, etc, showing a sustainability solution linked to your discipline. The Dropbox submission deadline is 7 April 2021.
If you are an undergraduate student, the SiP certificate you gain will also be added to your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). Your HEAR showcases a wide range of officially recognised activities you complete in addition to your studies at NTU - a great addition to your portfolio.
Go to the SiP module home page on NOW to find out more, and get started!We look forward to hearing your ideas for building a more sustainable world for all,
