Relax, meet other students and take part in free culture-based activities at our City and Clifton campuses.
Did you know the Global Lounges stay open out of term time? So if you’re staying in Nottingham over the summer, why not come and join us? We have plenty of free, fun, and relaxed activities for you to enjoy, including:
- free donuts on Mondays from 11 am to 1 pm (first come, first served)
- games afternoon on Mondays from 2 pm to 4 pm
- gardening at the Clifton Allotment on Wednesdays from 1 pm to 3 pm
- craft sessions on Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm
- movie night at City on Thursdays from 2 pm to 4 pm
- free fresh fruit on Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm (first come, first served).
There will also be lots of one-off events such as picnics, rooftop gardening, bike rides and cultural sessions. Follow us on Instagram @ntugloballounge for the latest updates.
We are also hosting our annual Global Summer School in July where we will welcome more than 150 students from around the world. The City Global Lounge will be their main hub and meeting point throughout their stay, which means this is a great chance for you to meet new people and make connections that could last a lifetime.

- Clifton Global Lounge, Mary Ann Evans building, Room 019. Open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm (out of term time).
We're having a make-over
The Clifton Global Lounge will be closed from Monday 7 July to Friday 11 July, while we do some work to make the space even better. All events are cancelled during this week, but you can come visit us again from Monday, 14 July. See you soon!
