Fantastic opportunities to read, write and perform for free this term (WRAP)

Published: 26/10/2021

Our Writing, Reading and Pleasure programme (WRAP) is back with more free activities for NTU students. This term we are giving you the chance to work with Stormzy’s writing partner, Jude Yawson. Whether you dream of writing the next bestseller or you’re simply looking for a creative outlet, everyone’s welcome!

WRAP

WRAP is all about providing students with free creative opportunities and a friendly like-minded community. Over the next few months, we have a mix of online and face-to-face activities for you to get involved with. These include workshops, book groups and special events with our featured writer Jude Yawson.

Our Term One theme is pop culture and we’re looking at a different theme each week. Explore reading everything from scripts and adverts to identity and drag, while having a go at writing your own work. We even offer one to one mentoring so you can get a second opinion on your work.

It doesn’t matter if you have a life-long passion for writing or if it’s your first-time putting pen to paper, come along to one of our weekly activities and experience WRAP for yourself.
