Around Nottingham there’s a huge amount of fantastic extra-curricular experiences that you can get involved in! To show you what’s on offer, we’re hosting five live events where we’ll be showcasing a range of part-time and volunteering roles via Microsoft Teams. The event starts on Monday 11 October till Friday 15 October. The attendees include:

Virtual Volunteer Fair

Nottingham Castle Trust - who provide education to the public on the history of Nottingham Castle, its collections and local history.

Age UK Notts - who provide services for older people from all communities to enhance the quality of life and promote health and wellbeing.

Action Tutoring – who with the help of volunteer tutors support pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds to reach their potential, increase their subject knowledge, confidence and study skills.

NACRO – who work with young and adult offenders in prisons and in the community offering support to change their lives and to prevent and reduce crime and the risk of reoffending.

NHS Foundation Trust - one of the country’s leading providers of integrated healthcare with an extremely diverse portfolio of mental health, intellectual disability and community health services.

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum - who work with and for refugees and asylum seekers living in and around Nottingham.

White Rose shops - who operate several Recycled Fashion stores in the city, which in turn support the great work of the Aegis Trust, a charity which works to build peace in communities at risk of genocide and mass atrocities and rebuild communities.
