Temporary suspension of the Tram service this weekend
Published: 05/11/2021
Unfortunately, due to industrial action this weekend, Nottingham Express Transit Service is unable to operate any late evening Tram services on Friday 5 November and throughout Saturday 6 November.

The measures will be in place from 9.30 pm on Friday as it will take some time for services to be wound down ahead of the start of industrial action at midnight. As your safety is our top priority, we urge you to plan your journey ahead of time whilst the Tram service is temporarily closed.
Please be mindful that the Tram service will resume from 6 am on Sunday morning. Visit the NET website to find out more.
Alternative methods of travel
Although the Tram service will be temporarily suspended, there are always alternative modes of transport you can use to get to your destination.
Nottingham Cars taxi service
Nottingham Trent Student Union (NTSU) has an agreement with Nottingham Cars that means students can get a taxi home whenever you need to and pay for it the following day. Visit the NTSU website to find out more details.
Nottingham City Transport (NCT) buses
NCT buses are a fantastic and cost-effective way of travelling between our campuses and around the city centre. You can find all their bus routes and timetables on the NCT website. Their system is well organised with colour coded buses for similar routes and super helpful bus drivers. An all-day bus ticket for use on any of their buses is £3.70 for the day or £2 for a single journey.
You will need the exact change, or you can download the NCT app on your smartphone and you can then pay by card and get a mobile ticket.
