NTSU’s on-campus venues, The Level and The Point, our shops at City and Clifton campuses, and three of your favourite venues in town – All Bar One, O’Neill’s and The Three Crowns will be taking part in this pilot scheme.

Taking part couldn’t be easier, once enrolled you simply download the age verification app from Google Play and register by scanning your passport.

Also, by participating in the trial you will be entered into a monthly £250 prize giveaway consisting of guest list tickets for you and three mates to LDOT2 and a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy watch, Samsung Buds2 noise cancelling earphones, or an annual premium Netflix subscription.

But it doesn’t stop there, by participating in the trial you will receive up to 20% off your food and drinks order at The Three Crowns, O’Neill’s and All Bar One when you use the app to verify your age.

Verifying your age is simple and quick, open the app on your phone, smile at the camera and scan the QR code located at the bar or on your table. That is all there is to it.
