We're so proud to announce that our talented student Gaia Cawley was the runner up for UNiDAYS Student Women of the Year competition. After reviewing women studying at over 220 different universities across the globe, from Tasmania to Texas, Gaia was shortlisted for the competition.

Gaia Cawley is a Psychology and Criminology student at NTU. After being diagnosed with dyslexia, she wanted to change the narrative of this opportunity gap. She launched a self-help YouTube channel called ‘Gaia Rose’ which has over 1.2k subscribers, building a community of young people and offering resources, making education accessible to all.
She is also one of our founding members of the NTU Content Collective, in which she has created amazing social media content, educating students on wellbeing, Nottingham city and life at NTU.
Over the moon to have been chosen out of thousands of entries worldwide! It means the world to know my work across YouTube, NTU and the wider community has been recognised. Massive congratulations to Yanti and all the other winners, it’s amazing to be in the company of such inspiring, esteemed women"
