The Women’s Development Programme is back for its third year
Published: 20/01/2023
Develop your skills in resilience, confidence, assertiveness, and leadership with Employability’s Women’s Development Programme.

Research suggests that female graduates are not achieving the same employment outcome as their male counterparts. However this is nothing to do with talent, but more to do with confidence, attitude and identity.
Employability's Women's Development Programmes aims to tackle this issue by focusing on key skills to help you in your career progression through a series of workshops and curated online courses.
As well as building your confidence, you will also have the chance to network with likeminded students and learn from NTU graduates in a group mentoring setting.
The programme is open to all female, female identifying and non-binary students. To get involved, just attend the upcoming launch event on Wednesday 25 January, 5.30 – 7 pm at Dryden on City campus. You can book your place by visiting MyEmployability.
The Women’s Development Programme was so beneficial to me because it made me realise that it’s okay to reach out for support and that everyone has issues with imposter syndrome and confidence at some point in their career.
Jorja Taylor, Graphic Design Student
At the launch, we’ll be joined by guest speakers, Rachel Power, Fiona Duncan-Steer and Laura-Jane Turner.
Rachel Power
Rachel is an NTU alumni, with over 20 years of experience working in business. Fiona Duncan-Steer
Fiona is an Alumni Fellow and Communication Coach with over fifteen years’ experience in the events industry, ten of those specifically in business networking. She is the founder of networking group RSVip and trainer in B2B networking.
