Explore, engage, empower: top three reasons to get involved in Global Week 2024
Published: 08/12/2023
Sign up now to participate in NTU's annual celebration of cultural diversity.

Global Week is taking place from Monday 26 February – Friday 1 March 2024 and is a fantastic opportunity for us to recognise the different cultural heritages of our students and colleagues at NTU. It's also the 10th anniversary of the annual event and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Celebrations will take place across our Brackenhurst, City and Clifton campuses. Excitement is building up and many students have already signed up to represent their culture, share their stories and celebrate diversity – don’t miss your opportunity to join them. Here are the top three reasons why you should get involved.
1. Explore the multicultural community at NTU
Global Week is an inspiring festival showcasing our multicultural NTU community. Students are encouraged to represent their cultural heritage through various mediums – exhibitions, dance, food, performance, or art. This is your chance to showcase the richness of your heritage.
2. Engage in global impact: address the issues that matter
Whether you are passionate about climate change, migration, or plastic waste, Global Week is the place for you to highlight the global issues that matter to you. Use this chance to raise awareness, share your perspective, and engage with others who are equally passionate.
3. Empower through student-led events
Students are at the heart of Global Week celebrations, and we want to encourage more students like yourself to actively participate. If you are interested in taking part and are travelling home for the winter break, remember to bring back something that represents your culture or idea.
Join us and be a part of something bigger. You can sign up to participate now – please contact ntugloballounge@ntu.ac.uk for more information.
Let’s celebrate diversity together and make Global Week 2024 an unforgettable experience.
