Are you ready for an unforgettable experience this summer?
Sign up now to become a NTU Global Summer School (GSS) student buddy.
Last year, we had 127 students from all over the world join us at the City Campus to experience life as a student at NTU. This July we are hoping for even more international visitors, and we need your help to make it a success.
We're seeking enthusiastic and confident students who are passionate about NTU and who will be in Nottingham this July to join us as GSS student buddies.
About the role
As a student buddy, you will:
- Prepare and welcome international students to NTU and the UK, both via our pre-departure Teams meeting and in person.
- Support NTU Global and engage with students at our welcome events.
- Take students on campus tours.
- Support our after-class activities such as bowling, an evening social at the Pitcher and Piano, and a party in the Level.
- Join our weekend activities, including visits to Cambridge and Nottingham Castle.
- Take part in one of the courses by attending all sessions and completing any assignments.
The activities are free of charge to our buddies, and you will receive £60 towards any expenses that you may incur, for example while going to dinner with students, or taking them out on visits.
Why should I apply?
The role is a fantastic opportunity.
- Gain invaluable international experience on campus.
- Increase your confidence.
