Drop a letter in the Red Post Box for your chance to be published
Published: 07/03/2024
NTU Arts is giving you the opportunity to become a published writer in their upcoming anthology!

Their Writing, Reading and Pleasure programme (WRAP) offers students and staff a host of literary opportunities, from regular writing sessions to book clubs and open mic poetry. Each year, their competition winners are featured in a printed anthology showcasing the work of NTU’s creative writing community.
To enter, just write a letter! Your letter can be to someone you know, telling them about something real or imaginary. It can be to someone famous (or infamous) in the past or future. It can be a thank you letter, a love letter or a letter of complaint. You can write to a country, a government, or anything else. The only limits are your imagination – and 400 words.
You can write your letter in person and post it through our Red Post Box next to the café in the Newton building, 12–2 pm, on one of the following dates:
- Thursday 7 March
- Thursday 14 March
- Thursday 21 March
If you’re unable to post your letter by hand, you can upload a photo or type and submit it via this form.
An anthology of the winners will be launched at our WRAP Live! end of year showcase on Tuesday 14 May, with a range of prizes for the winners.
In need of some inspiration? Join us at one of our upcoming writing workshops.
